Improved insulation including some internal wall insulation, loft insulation. Replacement of original windows with recreations in wood to enable style to be kept and encapsulation of original leaded lights. Highly modulating conventional gas boiler with reasonably smart heating control, TRVs on all radiators and woodburning stove in main living area (used as a CH substitute when practicable). Water saving shower head. LED lighting. Solar PV generation. Energy efficient appliances being phased in. Use Good Energy as electricity and gas supplier.

Average daily total electricity consumption before solar PV subtracted around 4.6 kWh (based on daily monitoring by a Current Cost Envir - equivalent to 1650 kWh pa).
