A really smart looking refurbishment, incorporating a timber framed extension. Specificed by Keith and Yvonne with work carried out by local contractors. 

In detail: Extensive insulation in walls, floors & roof using mostly sheep's wool and wood fibre. Underfloor heating throughout ground floor and some of first floor. Multi-source heating (gas boiler, wood stove, solar water panels, solar PV to immersion heater) to 400 L heat store. Triple-glazed windows & doors. Low power lighting throughout.
