Overseen by Charlie and Sarah, this Victorian semi has been retrofitted to deomstrate the energy saving potential of simple, effective improvements.

They have reduced the carbon emissions of this house by 85% by installing insulation to walls, floors and roof, triple glazing and draught proofing the sash windows and fitting a heating system that combines solar thermal with a log burning biomass boiler. Sustainable materials have been a priority, including the most durable and eventually recyclable kitchen they could design.
