Carbon Co-op is running the Greater Manchester Open Eco-homes weekend on 28th/29th March, an opportunity to meet the retrofit pioneers transforming their homes with energy saving measures and green technologies. We've all kinds of ways to get involved - including visits, bus tours, workshops and a free lunch.

The weekend features bus tours and opportunities to visit a variety of eco-homes around the city region as well as workshops and a networking lunch at our retrofit 'hub'.

All over Greater Manchester householders have been investing in the energy efficiency of their homes saving energy bills, cutting carbon and improving comfort. Saturday 28th and Sunday 29th March is your opportunity to visit these homes and meet the people who made these changes. You can view all kinds of improvements, everything from external wall insulation to solar panels to innovative heating and ventilation systems.
