Greater Manchester - Open Eco-homes event Spring 2015

The weekend features bus tours and opportunities to visit a variety of eco-homes around the city region as well as workshops and a networking lunch at our retrofit 'hub'.

All over Greater Manchester householders have been investing in the energy efficiency of their homes saving energy bills, cutting carbon and improving comfort. Saturday 28th and Sunday 29th March is your opportunity to visit these homes and meet the people who made these changes. You can view all kinds of improvements, everything from external wall insulation to solar panels to innovative heating and ventilation systems.

There is loads of ways to get involved:

• Arrange a visit direct with a householder, the list of homes and booking links can be found here, order as early as possible as spaces do book up quickly.

• For more advanced retrofitters, take our mini-bus tour to two specialist homes in Rossendale and Littleborough.
